In the space of Lift No. 1, three translucent curtains are hanging down from the ceiling.
One is in the centre directly above the former lift shaft.

Projector-screens are mounted behind the fabric. Behind the curtain in the middle, a film about seven miner's women is shown. With their eyes closed, they are thinking about their husbands underground. The installation is accompanied by a composition by Arno Peeters
